Phragmipedium Les Landes

A graceful hybrid combining Phrag. Hanne Popow and Phrag. Leslie Garay, producing elegantly elongated flowers with cream-green petals edged in deep rose, dramatically twisted lateral sepals, and a warm rose-red spotted pouch. A refined and eye-catching addition to any Phragmipedium collection.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; an east- or shaded south-facing window works well. Avoid direct sun exposure.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to cool-growing — 60–75°F (15–24°C) days, with cooler nights around 55–60°F (13–15°C).
  • Humidity: 60–80%. Maintain good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep the media consistently moist; Phragmipedium should never fully dry out. Use low-mineral or filtered water.

Additional Notes:

This hybrid is known for producing sequential blooms on tall, branching spikes, extending the flowering season significantly. Best grown in fine bark or sphagnum moss with excellent drainage.
