Phragmipedium Ramon de los Santos

This exceptional slipper orchid hybrid, a cross between Phragmipedium Mini Grande and Phragmipedium kovachii. The combination of these distinguished parents creates a truly outstanding specimen. Here are some tips for growing it:

  • Light: Moderate, filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
  • Temperature: Intermediate temperatures of 18-24°C (65-75°F) during the day, dropping to 13-18°C (55-65°F) at night.
  • Humidity: High humidity between 60-80% with excellent air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Consistent moisture using well-draining media. Never allow the potting medium to dry out completely.

Additional Notes:

Produces slipper-shaped flowers with vibrant colors from Phrag. kovachii and the refined shape of Phrag. Mini Grande. These strong, elegant blooms are highly valued by orchid collectors.
