Phragmipedium Uzhupud's Raymi Nicol's

A stunning Phragmipedium hybrid born from the cross of Phrag. Petit Anquette x Phrag. kovachii Nicol's, combining bold color saturation with the iconic large-pouched form of kovachii. The blooms display deep rose-magenta petals with a creamy, spotted pouch — an exceptional collector's plant.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; an east- or shaded south-facing window is ideal. Avoid direct midday sun.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to cool-growing — 60–75°F (15–24°C) days, with cooler nights around 55–60°F (13–15°C).
  • Humidity: 60–80%. Provide good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
  • Watering: Keep the potting media evenly moist at all times; Phragmipedium should never fully dry out. Use low-mineral or filtered water.

Additional Notes:

This hybrid inherits the large, showy flowers of Phrag. kovachii with improved adaptability from Phrag. Petit Anquette. Best grown in a fine bark or sphagnum moss mix with excellent drainage. Fertilize with a balanced, diluted orchid fertilizer every 2 weeks during active growth.
