Found in Ecuador without locality as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with terete ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, tubular, papaery sheaths and carrying a single, apcial, erect, coriaceous, obovate, obtuse, tridenticulate apex, narrowing below into the sulcate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on a flexuous, peduncle filiform, glabrous, .68 to .72" [1.7 to 1.8 cm] long, rachis filiform, glabrous, [2.2 to 5.2 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with tubular, membraneosus, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
