Porroglossum sergii

A charming miniature orchid native to the cloud forests of South America. This epiphytic species captivates collectors with its intricate, uniquely shaped flowers and compact growth habit, thriving in the cool, misty conditions of its high-altitude habitat.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid direct sun exposure.
  • Temperature: Cool-growing; 50–65°F (10–18°C). Avoid temperatures above 75°F (24°C).
  • Humidity: High humidity required, ideally 70–85%; good air circulation is essential to prevent rot.
  • Watering: Water frequently to keep the roots slightly moist; never allow to dry out completely between waterings.
