Rhyncholaeliocattleya Jacqueline Gabrielle (rec.)

Rhyncholaeliocattleya Jacqueline Gabrielle (rec.)

A floriferous hybrid of Rlc. Caesar's Head × Rlc. Fort Watson — the reciprocal cross of Rlc. Jacqueline Gabrielle — bearing large, full-form Cattleya-type flowers with broad, rounded petals, heavily ruffled edges, and a compact trilobed lip with a golden-orange throat. The "rec." designation indicates Caesar's Head as the seed parent, which may influence subtle variations in vigor and flower expression.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with 30–50% shade cloth; good light levels are essential for reliable blooming.
  • Temperature: Warm-growing; thrives between 65–86°F (18–30°C) with a minimum tolerance around 60°F (16°C).
  • Humidity: 50–70%; tolerates moderate humidity with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to dry out between waterings; reduce watering slightly after new growth matures.

Additional Notes:

Grow in a well-draining bark mix in a pot sized to the root system. Bright light and a slight temperature drop at night encourage blooming. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
