Syngonium Pink Chameleon

Syngonium Pink Chameleon

The Syngonium Pink Chameleon is a striking tropical aroid prized for its dramatically variegated foliage, displaying a vivid blend of soft pink, cream, and green tones that shift in intensity as the plant matures — earning its chameleon-inspired name.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal to maintain vibrant pink variegation. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch leaves, and low light, which fades color.
  • Temperature: Warm to intermediate conditions, 65–85°F (18–29°C). Protect from drafts and temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
  • Humidity: Prefers 60–80% relative humidity. Use a humidifier or pebble tray to maintain adequate moisture in the air.
  • Watering: Water when the top inch of substrate dries out. Ensure well-draining mix to prevent root rot; reduce frequency in cooler months.

Additional Notes:

Foliage is arrow-shaped when young, becoming more lobed with maturity. The pink and cream variegation is most vivid under bright indirect light. A fast-growing, rewarding aroid well-suited for indoor collections or tropical displays.
