It is a species of Anthurium known for its distinctive arrowhead-shaped leaves and beautiful veining patterns. Native to tropical regions, this plant prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Regular watering is essential, allowing the soil to partially dry out between waterings. It appreciates high humidity, so misting or using a humidity tray can be beneficial. Fertilize during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Prune any dead or yellowing leaves to maintain the plant's appearance. With proper care, Anthurium kunthii can thrive as a unique and attractive addition to your indoor plant collection.

Super funky and unique anthurium

I absolutely love this anthurium kunthii! It came with very healthy roots and maybe 6 leaves about the size of my hand (4-6 inches in diameter). The leaflets are very pretty and remind me of anthurium polyschistum and clavigerum, and although I do not have either of them, I imagine it might have a similar growth habit to them? It has very long internodes and strikes me as almost a scrambler, but I can't say for sure. Will need to do some research on it. Regardless, I love this plant and highly recommend buying this one from this site. The price here is actually marginally higher than the Ecuador site but you still get the already acclimated plant with much healthier and already potted roots!
