It is characterised by its large thin leaves that are oval shaped with a deep sinus as the get larger.  Found in very wet forests of South America it will flourish in a humid environment. The leaf blades grow at the top of long elegant petioles that can reach a meter in length.

Looks nice

The plant looks like the photo. However, I should have checked the roots. It slowly dropped a couple leaves, which happens sometimes when plants are shipped. However, it gradually lost all leaves and I looked at the roots to realized they were slightly rotten. I hadn’t watered since receiving it either. Didn’t make any complaints. Trying to save it now. Have a few new roots so fingers crossed!! Still overall satisfied with ecuagenera!

Dead plant and ecuagenera has nothing to say

My plant came very quickly via ups but ecuagenera did not pack a heat pad with my order and I’m in NY with a snowstorm in full effect. Also my plant had root rot from and i was Left with a stick. Ecuagenera stopped answering my emails.
