Dracula cochliops is a captivating and distinctive orchid species known for its unique and visually intriguing characteristics. Native to the cloud forests of South America, particularly in countries like Ecuador and Colombia, this orchid thrives in cool and misty montane environments. What sets Dracula cochliops apart is its charming and whimsical flowers. The name "Dracula" is fitting, as the blossoms of this orchid often resemble the face of a little vampire, complete with a hanging lip that looks like a bat's nose or fangs. The flowers typically have intricate patterns, often in shades of brown, green, and white, with a delightful fragrance that adds to their allure. This orchid is epiphytic in nature, meaning it grows on trees and rocks, and it is highly adapted to its cloud forest habitat. Cultivating Dracula cochliops can be a rewarding experience for orchid enthusiasts who appreciate the unique beauty of its flowers and the allure of cloud forest flora, making it a prized possession among specialized orchid collections
I've never gave less than 5 star review for this plant seller before. I wasn't going to review this plant because it was a disappointment, But sense they sent me a email asking. I've never bought anything from the website before but I did on black Friday they had a 50% off from 8am-10am. So the plant arrived with my purchase I made from a LIVE sell on palmstreet. So the picture displayed for the plant I got from the website are not the same. The plant i got had damaged leaves and looked rough. I would have never paid what I paid for this plant. I wouldn't have even bought this plant. And it was small. So if your asking me if I would ever buy from the website again answer is No. But I will continue to purchase from LIVE sells or just drive to the location in Florida.
Order was fantastic. All well established plants that were larger than expected. Fantastic price. Thank you
Received a Gongora Aceras. Disappointed iin the quality of pant. Most pants I have received are maybe 1 to2 years from bloom. But, this pant appears to be a compot of small plants very tender, very small roots. (But healthy) Several years from blooming.
Plants arrived, well-packaged, healthy, and damage free. Will order from Ecuagenera again.
