It is a striking and prized variety within the Alocasia genus, known for its unique and captivating variegated foliage. This tropical plant features large, arrowhead-shaped leaves with intricate patterns of white or cream-colored variegation set against deep green backgrounds, resembling the intricate patterns of batik textiles. 'Batik' is a highly decorative Alocasia variety, prized for its ornamental value and ability to add a touch of elegance to indoor spaces. Like other Alocasias, it thrives in bright, indirect light and benefits from consistently moist soil and higher humidity levels to maintain its lush and eye-catching appearance.
I’ve order a lot of orchids and plants from this company. Most have been decent, some beautiful, and some terrible. This plant is super small and has no blooms on it. Not even a spike starting so will be a while before I can see its beautify.
I love the cattleya from Ecuagenera US in Apopka, FL. I can spend all day wondering around just their orchid greenhouse, checking out each and every one. I've never been able to leave without something in my hands.
