Anthurium Magnificent Silver x Anthurium Crystal Dress (seedling)

A seedling hybrid between Anth. Magnificent Silver and Anth. Crystal Dress, two premium cultivars renowned for their bold venation. Remarkably, the full reticulate white-cream venation pattern over a deep dark green surface is already completely expressed at seedling stage — making this one of the most visually striking plants in the collection from day one.

  • Light: Bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Thrives near an east- or north-facing window, or under grow lights.
  • Temperature: Intermediate-warm growing — 65°F–82°F (18°C–28°C). Protect from temperatures below 60°F (15°C).
  • Humidity: 70–90%. Use a humidifier or high-humidity enclosure for best results. Avoid dry air from heating or AC vents.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the substrate feels dry. Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix. Never let roots sit in standing water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright; produces large cordate leaves with the full venation pattern visible on every leaf. Benefits from a moss pole or totem as it matures.
  • Maintenance: As a seedling, this plant benefits from stable humidity and temperatures. Avoid sudden environmental changes and repot only when roots are well established.

Additional Notes:

Both primary and secondary venation are fully expressed in white-cream, creating a complete reticulate grid across the dark semi-velvety blade. Burgundy petioles add a subtle color accent. The pattern is consistent across all leaves from seedling stage. Minor variation between individuals is expected.
