This distinctive 'type' specimen represents an exceptional choice for enthusiasts and lovers of exotic plants, showcasing the characteristic features that define the oxycarpum species with its classic morphology.

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, mimicking its natural epiphytic habitat. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm and consistent temperatures between 18-25°C (64-77°F). Protect from cold drafts.
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity levels, ideally 60-80%, to maintain healthy foliage and prevent browning.
  • Watering: Keep the potting mix consistently moist but well-draining. Allow slight drying between waterings to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes
