Anthurium Shuar Soul x Anthurium besseae aff

A distinctive hybrid combining Anth. Shuar Soul with Anth. besseae aff., offering an elegant tropical accent for a curated indoor collection.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light near an east-facing window or a shaded south-facing window. Avoid direct midday sun.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to warm-growing; maintain 65–82°F (18–28°C), away from cold drafts.
  • Humidity: Aim for 60–80% with gentle air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate lightly moist, allowing the surface to begin drying between waterings. Use an airy, well-draining mix and never leave the pot standing in water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright, self-heading growth suited to pot culture. A moss pole is generally unnecessary; provide gentle support if the stem elongates.

Additional Notes:

Elongated, heart-shaped leaves have a velvety appearance, deep green coloring, and prominent pale veins. Emerging foliage displays bronze tones, complemented by reddish petioles. Leaf shape and coloration may vary between individual plants. The “aff.” designation indicates affinity with Anth. besseae, rather than a confirmed identification as that species.
