Anthurium Blushed Forget 'Calix'

This distinctive tropical hybrid combines Anth. Silver Blush and Anth. forgetii 'Cup Leafs', offering an expressive addition to a curated aroid collection. Each unfolding leaf adds a fresh stage to its developing display.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light near a filtered window. Protect from harsh direct sunlight.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to warm-growing; 65–82°F (18–28°C). Avoid cold drafts and abrupt temperature changes.
  • Humidity: Aim for 60–80% with gentle air circulation to encourage healthy leaf expansion.
  • Watering: Keep the root zone lightly moist, allowing the surface of the mix to begin drying between waterings. Use an airy, well-draining aroid mix and never leave the pot standing in water.
  • Growth Habit: Upright, rosette-like growth with outward-spreading leaves. A moss pole is not initially necessary; provide a short support if the stem elongates and needs anchoring.

Additional Notes:

Elongated, heart-shaped green leaves display broad silvery markings along the main veins and sharply tapered tips. Allow new leaves to expand without rubbing against surrounding plants, and avoid handling their delicate surfaces until fully hardened.
