It is a captivating variation of the Queen Anthurium known for its unique and exquisite foliage. The heart-shaped leaves exhibit a remarkable combination of deep green shades and intricate silver veining, giving them an enchanting "Esmeralda" appearance. This striking contrast adds to the plant's allure. Native to South America, it thrives in humid and warm conditions. Like other members of the Anthurium genus, 'Esmeralda' requires bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Its distinct foliage and tropical elegance make it a sought-after choice for plant enthusiasts and collectors.

God a dud

Bought this plant on palm street. Arrived right before I went on a short vacation thursday-sunday. When the plant arrived the soil was soaked. So I set it outside under my screened porch with all my other anthuriums. When I returned home Sunday, my clear pots came in so I decided to repot most my plants. Removed the esmerelda from her previous pot to discover ALL the roots had rotted. The soil was still pretty moist after being water logged upon arrival. I originally had bought 2 in the same palm street order as a gift for a friend and whichever one she wanted I would keep the other one. Good thing I did buy 2 cuz this dud was the first one I bought. I'm just glad that atleast my friends esmerelda came out good.

Though it would be better

After hearing a lot about the size of the plants being sent out, and how nice they were, I was quite disappointed to open the box to find a small 3 leaf plant. We shall see how it grows out, currently looks A LOT like the queen x water hybrid.
