This diminutive epiphytic orchid, native to Brazil, is characterized by its grass-like appearance and prolific growth habit. It features thin, narrow leaves and small, flattened pseudobulbs that produce multiple arching inflorescences covered in tiny, fragrant white flowers with a yellow-orange center.
This species is an excellent candidate for mounting on cork or driftwood, where its creeping rhizomes can spread freely to form a lush mat. When grown this way, it may require daily misting with aged water or rainwater to maintain hydration without the risk of mineral buildup on its roots.
