This Cattleya-type hybrid combines Cattleya C. G. Roebling and Rlc. Pastoral, displaying broad, softly ruffled lavender petals and pale sepals. A vivid magenta lip with a golden-yellow throat creates a striking contrast.

  • Light: Bright, filtered light near an east-facing window or a lightly shaded south-facing window. Gentle morning sun is beneficial; protect from harsh midday sun.
  • Temperature: Intermediate to warm-growing; 70–85°F (21–29°C) during the day and 58–65°F (14–18°C) at night.
  • Humidity: 50–70%, with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the potting mix to approach dryness before watering again. Use a coarse, well-draining orchid mix and reduce watering when growth slows.

Additional Notes:

Firm green leaves are supported by pseudobulbs that store moisture. Leave room for new growth along the rhizome and repot as new roots begin to emerge. Adequate light and a day-to-night temperature drop help support flowering.
